A 15-year-old student at Bonnabel Magnet Academy High School in Kenner was arrested Thursday after she allegedly stabbed another student in the face with an eyebrow razor.

The 14-year-old victim from Kenner was brought to Ochsner Hospital with what is described as a non-life threatening injury.

The student was found bleeding from her face shortly before 9 a.m. by a JPSO campus detective, who told him she had been stabbed by the other student as she was walking down the hallway.

The detective then discovered the two students had been having issues for some time. The 15-year-old suspect claimed she was constantly being bullied by the younger girl and was tired of it.

The unnamed student faces a charge of aggravated battery.
