A highly recruited middle linebacker, considered by many to be the best at the position in the country, says he's taking his playing talents to LSU.
Jacob Phillips tweeted his intentions to play for the Tigers after first verbally committing to the Oklahoma Sooners. National Signing Day is Wednesday.
Linebacker is a position of great need for the Tigers, who lost key players at the spot through graduation.
