Alaska Airlines is adding a daily non-stop flight between New Orleans and San Francisco starting this September, offering travelers another option to the City by the Bay from the Crescent City.
The flights begin September 21 and will be operated by Virgin America, which Alaska recently acquired. They will depart San Francisco at 8:48 a.m. and arrive in New Orleans shortly after 3 p.m. Departure from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is scheduled for 4 p.m., arriving at San Francisco International Airport around 6 p.m. Pacific.
Currently, United Airlines offers a daily non-stop to San Francisco and Southwest flies to Oakland from New Orleans.
