Man Convicted of Shooting Metairie Father, Son Sentenced

The man convicted of shooting a father and son to death inside their Metairie home two years ago will spend the rest of his life in prison.

At sentencing Friday, the judge in the case said Dexter Allen showed "no remorse" during the trial, and emphasized the sentence has no possibility of parole.

David and Nicholas Pence were in their living room when they were killed by shotgun blasts, during what's been called an auto-burglary spree.
