Bill Cassidy Says Healthcare Plan Must Pass 'Kimmel Test'

Senator Bill Cassidy says the healthcare bill approved by the House doesn't pass what he calls "the Kimmel test."

The Louisiana Republican made reference to late night host Jimmy Kimmel's emotional monologue last week about his infant son's heart surgery and the need for access to healthcare for everyone.

Cassidy, who is a doctor, says people want lower premiums without sacrificing adequate healthcare.  He says power must be given to the patient.
