The 2017 New Orleans Oyster Festival is coming up this weekend.
More than 20 local restaurants will be serving up oysters and much more at the eighth annual event. Besides lots of food for all to enjoy, the festival will also feature eating contests and live music.
The festival is this Saturday and Sunday at Woldenberg Riverfront Park starting at 10 a.m. each day and admission is free. Details are available online at the NOLA Oyster Fest Facebook page
