A New Orleans man could face the death penalty in the murders of a pregnant woman, her fetus and her parents.
Jefferson Parish authorities in Gretna say last year Jatory Evans stabbed a seven-month pregnant Sydney Hanson several times and then set a fire. When firefighters arrived they also found the bodies of Hanson's parents outside with gunshot wounds.
Evans is charged with first-degree feticide and three counts of first-degree murder. It's believed he was the father to the unborn baby.
