Pat-down searches at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge are expected to be a thing of the past beginning this weekend.
LSU Student Government made the announcement yesterday after negotiations with the university's president.
The searches have been normal fare at the entrance to the LSU student section, but a new "clear bag" policy is said to be a preferred route to keeping contraband out of the stands during home games.
LSU takes on Chattanooga this Saturday evening.
