The Jefferson Parish School Board wants to know if Superintendent Isaac Joseph has violated state law and board policy.
NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports board members met behind closed doors for about a half-hour last night, deciding in the end to hire an independent counsel to investigate Joseph.
There's been no public airing of the allegations against Joseph, first made by board member Cedric Floyd in mid-August.
