A Grand Isle man will be serving 26 years in prison without the possibility of parole.
The Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office says 32-year-old Wade Perkins the Third was sentenced yesterday after pleading guilty to attempted rape and child porn charges.
The Michigan native was arrested in April of last year after police were tipped to Perkins' offer to pay $400 to have sex with a six or seven-year-old girl in his home.
