New Orleans-based rapper Mystikal, whose real name is Michael Tyler, was without legal representation during a court appearance yesterday in Shreveport on charges of rape and kidnapping.
But, Tyler says he does have the funds to hire a lawyer. The judge postponed his arraignment until late November to give him time to obtain an attorney.
Tyler and two others are accused in an alleged rape that occurred last October at a Shreveport casino and hotel.
