(FOX 8/WVUE) A teen accused of attacking a Kenner family with a hammer in the Woodlake subdivision back in July is in court for a status hearing Monday.
Vincenzo "Jake" Randazzo, 16, was charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder in connection with the case. The attack killed 89-year-old Phillip Lynch, and left his wife Anita severely injured.
Randazzo has pled not guilty to the charge and will be tried as an adult in the case.
