High Court Puts Hold On Subpoena Request In Cantrell Case

A hearing set for next Wednesday to consider the fate of a bank subpoena request in a credit card probe of Mayor-elect LaToya Cantrell by Louisiana's attorney general will not happen.

It's been stayed by the state Supreme Court.

The Advocate reports the court is working to determine whether Orleans Parish Criminal District Court Judge Laurie White should preside over the hearing.
