Local and state officials are investigating a car fire in New Orleans and a body found inside the vehicle.
Firefighters responded to the scene shortly after noon Sunday where they found a vehicle burning near the intersection of Lourdes Street and Savoie Court on the city's east side.
The body was recovered from the vehicle and transported to the coroner's office to determine the victim's identity and cause of death.
