Little change in gas prices as another work week begins in Louisiana.
AAA reports the statewide average price of regular is holding nearly steady in the neighborhood of $2.58 a gallon. That's a penny more than a week ago but about six cents cheaper compared to a month earlier.
Drivers were paying about 54 cents less for the fuel a year ago today, while those in New Orleans were shelling out about 50 cents less.
