Man Who Wounded JPSO Deputy During Raid Pleads Guilty

A Lower 9th Ward man will be facing a 35-year sentence after pleading guilty to charges other than the attempted murder of a federal agent.

Jarvis Hardy entered guilty plea to lesser drug and firearms charges Monday related to the 2016 shooting of Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Deputy Stephen Arnold, who was was hit by gunfire and permanently disabled during a drug task force raid.

Formal sentencing is November 1st.
