Falling Gas Prices In Louisiana As Autumn Begins

Two days into autumn and gas prices are beginning to slowly tumble.

AAA says that's because the high demand for fuel seen over the summer is beginning to wane with supply and demand closer to equaling out.

Here in Louisiana, the statewide average price of regular is inching lower, down about two cents from a month ago.

But, even at $2.57 a gallon, regular is still costing drivers about 20 cents more per gallon than at this time last year.
