A Fort Polk soldier from the Louisiana town of Llano is headed to a federal lockup for eleven years following his guilty plea earlier this year to producing and detonating a chemical bomb near the Army base.

Justice Department officials say the device was set off in the Kisatchie National Forest in April 2017 by 24-year-old Ryan Keith Taylor.

Two investigators who inhaled chlorine residue from the explosion were treated multiple times for their injuries.
