The NOPD is working to track down those responsible for robbing a Family Dollar in Algiers.
The incident happened late Saturday night at the store on General Meyers Avenue. Police were told that two people armed with handguns and wearing ski masks and hoodies came in just before 9:30 demanding money from both of the store's registers.
They fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
