The power is back on for those impacted Sunday by an outage in the Metairie area.
Entergy Louisiana blamed the situation on high winds that cut the power to more than 3,000 customers around 3:30 yesterday afternoon. The lights came back on around 5:30
There's no word on exactly what equipment was disrupted by the windy weather to cause the outage.
