Actor Brad Pitt and other foundation directors are being sued after residents claim his foundation built shabby homes in New Orleans.
The plaintiffs claim that Pitt and members of his Make It Right Foundation have known about the structural problems since at least 2009 but have failed to fix them despite mounting complaints.
Pitt and other directors of his foundation asked the court to be removed from the lawsuit as they had no part in the actual construction of the homes.
Judge Rachael Johnson denied the request last week.
