The campus of Louisiana State University is now on lockdown to all non-essential employees.

LSU Administration Officials announced yesterday on Twitter that all buildings on campus would be off-limits starting today to protect the safety of the University's community.

LSU is cutting off access to the school to comply with federal and state guidelines on social distancing.

All non-essential employees have been asked to stay home.
