Louisiana State University says they will rename Middleton Library pending approval by the board.
LSU officials announced yesterday they would seek the name change as a way to bring more racial justice to campus.
Middleton Library is named after former LSU President Tory Middleton, who was against desegregation and worked to keep black athletes off LSU sports teams.
A list of possible replacement names has not been released.
