Louisiana state leaders are working to restore power at polling locations that were damaged by Hurricane Zeta.

The Louisiana Secretary of State said he is working with areas hit hard by the hurricane before Tuesday's election.

Kyle Ardoin said his office is working in close coordination with local officials to assess the damage sustained at voting sites and is working to get power back on.

Governor John Bel Edwards said an election task force was set in place to make sure there are alternate polling places if normal ones would be out due to storm damage.
