A former priest from Slidell faces another molestation charge after his arrest on Tuesday.
Patrick Wattigny was first arrested in 2020 after he was accused of sexually abusing a juvenile in 2013 while serving as pastor of a Slidell church.
In August of this year, an adult told the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office that Wattigny had sexually abused him as a minor. The abuse reportedly took place in 2013, when the victim was an elementary student at a Covington-area Catholic school.
Wattigny now faces another count of molesting a juvenile.
