Severe weather could delay three parades scheduled for this evening.
The Knights of Babylon is set to lead the way at 5:30, followed by the Knights of Chaos and the Krewe of Muses.
Collin Arnold, director of New Orleans Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, says rain is in the forecast, but any severe weather should roll through the area early enough to allow the parades to proceed.
Arnold says there may be a delay from 5:30 to maybe 6 or 6:15.
