Charges Dropped Against Two LSP Troopers In Ronald Greene Death

The charges against two former state troopers connected to the death of Ronald Greene are being dropped.

CNN reports John Peters and Dakota DeMoss are no longer charged with obstruction of justice in Greene's death in 2019.

Officials said Peters directed someone to "bury" something in the report during the investigation, and DeMoss was accused of turning off the audio to his body camera.

Two troopers and a Union Parish Deputy still face charges for Greene's death, which happened after a police chase.
