Three teenage boys from Mississippi are behind bars and accused of stealing packages from porches in Slidell.
Acting on a tip, Slidell police pulled over a blue BMW sedan around 4 p.m. Saturday. Officers say the car was full of Amazon packages stolen from Slidell addresses, mostly along Robert Boulevard.
Police also found a handwritten note that laid out a plan to commit a robbery.
The suspects are charged with theft and criminal conspiracy. Their names and ages weren't disclosed.
Most of the stolen packages were returned to their owners, though some had been opened and couldn't be matched to an address.
