The District Attorney for New Orleans is shaken up but okay after an armed carjacking.

Jason Williams was helping his 78-year-old mother into her car last night when they were attacked.

Two gunmen, who stole his car, are still on the run.

Williams says the suspects were not able to get far because he still had the key fob in his pocket. The black Lincoln Navigator was eventually located.

About 30 minutes later, police say the same suspects carjacked a 22-year-old woman about a half-a-mile away.

Part of the district attorney's job is to decide whether or not to prosecute carjackings. Williams has been praised for treating four teenage suspects as adults in last year's deadly carjacking of a senior citizen.
