The Transportation Security Administration is reporting the discovery of a pound of meth at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

TSA officers found the meth placed in a gallon bag inside a jar of seafood boil a passenger tried to take through security.

TSA officials say their officers don't search for narcotics, but if they find any, they're required to report them police.

The passenger is under arrest and facing federal charges.
