The New Orleans Saints are looking to sweep their season series against the NFC South rival Carolina Panthers on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome.

The Saints enter on a three-game losing streak and are currently sitting third in the division at 5-7.

Starting quarterback Derek Carr suffered a concussion in last Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions and was placed in the league's protocol for the second time this season.

The 10-year veteran has passed for 2,761 yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions in his first season in New Orleans.

Carolina enters the weekend on a five-game losing streak after falling to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 21-18 in Week 13.

The team's 30th-ranked passing offense continued to struggle in the first game under interim head coach Chris Tabor, with Bryce Young throwing for just 178 yards and an interception in the losing effort.

The Panthers have the worst record in the NFL at 1-11.

The Saints took down the Panthers 20-17 in Week 2.
