Houma police are investigating a deadly shooting that resulted from a bar fight between two Alabama men.
Investigators say the shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Thirsty Thirty Sports Bar on Barataria Avenue near Little Bayou Black Drive.
Police say 39-year-old Marvin Reed and 39-year-old Christopher Boutwell reportedly got into a fight at the bar.
Boutwell allegedly fetched a gun from his car and shot Reed several times.
Police found Boutwell nearby and arrested him for second-degree murder.
