Second Jefferson Parish Krewe Bows Out Of Carnival

A second financially troubled krewe is bowing out of the Carnival parade in Jefferson Parish.

The Krewe of Caerus announced on Wednesday that they'll be sitting it out.

The krewe reportedly missed a deadline to pay its float builder, which says only about five percent of the contract has been paid.

Two days earlier, the Krewe of Culinary Queens canceled their parade because of lapsed membership fees.
