Keeping An Eye On Tropical Wave In Atlantic

NHC 5day Mon PM 081417

Forecasters are watching a broad area of low pressure in the Atlantic closely for further signs of development.

"Environmental conditions are expected to be generally conducive for development during the next several days while the disturbance moves westward at about 15 mph over the tropical Atlantic," says the National Hurricane Center.

It's still far too early to know if this storm will threaten the Gulf Coast.
