While Louisiana is known for producing the most professional football players, a new study shows it holds the same distinction for all major U.S. sports.
Rukkus.com looked at the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and MLS rosters to see where most pro-athletes come from. It determined just over two pro-athletes out of every 100,000 people come from Louisiana.
Georgia was next with just under two and Alabama was just a few percentage points lower than Georgia.
