A man wearing a Cincinnati Bengals hat and a Van Halen T-shirt robbed the Whitney Bank on Chartres Street in the French Quarter at mid-afternoon on Monday.
The suspect, believed to be in between 30 and 40 years old, presented a teller a note indicating he had a weapon. He was described as being about 6 feet tall with a medium build and brown hair.
A reward of $5,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
