A teacher's attempt to discuss a language issue ended badly when he made use of a racial slur to prove his point.
Thursday at Ben Franklin High videos began to circulate showing when the teacher used the racial slur during a discussion with students about language and the effect of words.
An argument ensued and many students protested vigorously but the teacher didn't back away.
Principal Patrick Widhalm has since confirmed the videos are accurate. He says when the investigation into the incident is complete, appropriate action will be taken.
