A man is under arrest for allegedly trying to run over his girlfriend's child.
Monday, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's office said deputies arrested Shawn Porrovechio after he went into an angry frenzy while playing ball with the eight-year-old boy.
Porrovechio allegedly got into his truck and sped through the yard toward the boy, who managed to jump to safety.
Porrovechio now faces several charges including attempted first-degree murder.
