A man and his wife are suing a Slidell Police Officer, Police Chief Randy Fandal and former Chief Randy Smith who is now the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff.
The $3.2 million federal lawsuit accuses officer Luke Irwin of using "coercion and intimidation" to force the woman into a lengthy sexual relationship.
An attorney for Irwin, who was the department's officer of the year three years ago, says the allegations are "not true."
