A Jefferson Parish coroner report fails to classify the cause of death of a Jefferson Parish man who died while in the custody of Gretna police.

The report released this week says Kendole Joseph died during the February incident from acute schizophrenic psychosis along with elevated levels of benadryl in his system. The report cannot pinpoint what caused Joseph to suffer the deadly episode.

Joseph's family accuses the Gretna police of brutality when Joseph was taken into custody in Gretna for allegedly acting erratically at a store.

Joseph's family plans to march at the Gretna Police Headquarters to demand all video of the incident be released.
