A south Louisiana food bank is benefiting from folks who paid to adopt 20,000 rubber ducks during the annual Rubber Duck Derby.

Fire crews used hoses to blast water and push the ducks along in the race which featured prizes for individuals and organizations who paid to sponsor a duck or group of ducks.

Organizers say during Saturday afternoon's race at Big Lake in City Park all 20,000 ducks were adopted with all proceeds going to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
