A St. Tammany Parish-based company is the new owner of the former Louisiana Medical Center and Heart Center in Lacombe
Stirling Medical Lacombe which is associated with Stirling Properties in Covington reportedly paid $22 million for the defunct health center that closed its doors in February.
The new owners say no decision has been made yet but several health care providers have contacted Stirling with the hopes of leasing the facilities to once again offer health care services there.
