A New Orleans police officer is in good condition after being shot while working security.
Police say Officer Christopher Abbott was hit in the leg early this morning near Camp and Leontine streets. They're looking for a dark SUV in connection with the shooting.
It's the third time Abbott has been shot during his career as a police officer. He'd previously survived shootings in 1998 and 2001.
