New Orleans is a city on edge, concerned about the potential for catastrophic flooding as it addresses continuing problems with its drainage pumps.

Mayor Mitch Landrieu, Governor John Bel Edwards and FEMA Administrator Brock Long met with reporters in Baton Rouge yesterday.

FEMA is being asked to reposition assets so it can offer assistance quickly in the event of serious flooding.
