Landry Issues Warning About Flood-Damaged Vehicles

If you're getting ready to buy a new or used car, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry is urging you do so cautiously.

A public service announcement debuted yesterday where Landry advises residents to beware of possible flood-damaged cars hitting the market. He says to pull back carpeting in the vehicle to check for water damage, look at light panels to see if they're fogged up and try to obtain a history report on the vehicle.

He says upwards of one million vehicles were damaged by hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
