Governor Announces Donation Drive For Puerto Rico

Governor John Bel Edwards and his Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness are leading a statewide effort to gather donations for the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

The island suffered extensive damage, leaving most residents without power and other necessities for days now.

The state is collecting items through October 11th that include diapers, non-perishable formula and baby wipes.

Donations will be accepted at the following locations:
