Metairie Man Jailed For Knocking Daughter Unconscious

The father of a Metairie teen is jailed in Jefferson Parish after investigators found he had quite literally punched his daughter's lights out Sunday night after she allegedly disrespected him.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Juan Lopez-Alvarado on a charge of second-degree battery to a juvenile.  He's alleged to have repeatedly punched the 14-year-old until she fell unconscious, suffering from a concussion, bruises and cuts.
