At least one person is dead and two people injured in three separate shootings last night in New Orleans as the city marked its "Night Out Against Crime."
Police say the person killed was at an Allen Street address, that and the other shooting taking place after officers were called to the shooting of a security guard who was patrolling the Alvar Street Library.
He was last reported in critical condition after being wounded in the back.
