A double-dose of good news for the LSU Tigers.
First, the team gave Ole Miss what for in Saturday's matchup, as the Tigers beat the Rebels 40-24 to give LSU a six-two won/loss record this season.
The second bit of good news came yesterday when the Amway Coaches Poll was released, placing LSU 23rd, up two spots from last week. The Tigers are also 23rd in the AP Top 25.
LSU is on a bye this week before facing Alabama on Nov. 11.
