Abbeville City Attorney Ike Funderburk won't be filing any charges against a Vermilion Parish teacher who was handcuffed and hauled off to jail after questioning the school board about its pay policies.
KATC-TV says the decision was made after the school board said it didn't want to have Deyshia Hargrave prosecuted.
Hargrave was ordered removed as she spoke out Monday against the superintendent's pay raise when teachers and staff had not received any increases.
The ACLU of Louisiana says her expulsion from the public meeting and arrest are unacceptable.
